From 9 to 13 March, Poznań and other Polish cities and regions - Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław as well as Pomerania and Silesia - will present their investment offers, alongside metropolises such as London, Berlin, Rome, Madrid, Helsinki and Tallinn.
The Poznań delegation is led by Mayor Jacek Jaśkowiak and his deputy, Natalia Weremczuk. Among other things, Mayor Jaśkowiak will receive an award for Beiersdorf in Poznań for one of the best mid-size investment projects with the city's support according to fDI Intelligence by Financial Times.
- The participation of Poznań's representatives at MIPIM is one of the key elements in building our city's investment advantages - says Mayor Jacek Jaśkowiak. - Our presence is appreciated by investors, who benefit from the opportunity to discuss their projects in the context of the strategic development goals of our city, which undoubtedly builds confidence in Poznań as a reliable partner at home and abroad. This also has an impact on strengthening Poland's image as a key player in the international arena - notes Mayor Jaśkowiak.
Poznań's offer at MIPIM 2026 includes a diverse - in terms of purpose, size and location and location - portfolio of 16 properties, including:
- 9 residential and commercial areas,
- 1 offer consisting of areas for manufacturing facilities, warehouses and storage facilities, with permission for the construction of service buildings, and areas for service buildings and two fields for non-public car parks,
- 2 areas defined in the local plan as areas for service buildings or commercial facilities with a sales area of over 2,000 m2, or manufacturing facilities, warehouses and storage facilities,
- 1 property identified as areas for service buildings, manufacturing facilities, warehouses and storage facilities, and
- 3 offers for service buildings.
Some of these properties have already been advertised for sale - notably the key location at 36 Pleszewska Street in the area of Rataje Roundabout, which will be sold as early as April 2026!
- As many as 13 of the properties we will be promoting at MIPIM this year are located in areas covered by existing local plans. The other 3 have a clear reference in the provisions of the General Plan, which Poznań adopted as the first large city in Poland - says Natalia Weremczuk, deputy mayor of Poznań. - These documents provide a great deal of predictability and consistency in the city's planning process. These are some of the most valuable conditions in space management today and a major asset in the investment process - she adds.
- As the Investor Relations Department responsible for organising Poznań's participation in MIPIM, over the years we have noticed the growing interest in our city on the part of investors of various business profiles, creating new jobs for the people of Poznań - states Katja Lożina, Head of the Investor Relations Department. - Among other things, Poznań is the current leader of the office market - she adds. - This is evidenced, for example, by recent reports from the office market, according to which Poznań is leading among large regional cities, just behind Warsaw in terms of the volume of office space under construction - concludes Lożina.
