The "City of the Year" award is presented to municipalities that effectively build Poland's investment brand and successfully attract new business ventures. This year, Poznań competed against Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Łódź, and Vilnius. The city had previously received the title in 2021 and 2024.

The decision to grant the title is made by an independent jury composed of experts from the real estate, finance, and investment sectors. The CEE Investment Awards is one of the most important real estate events in Central and Eastern Europe - it brings together representatives of both the public and private sectors, fosters knowledge exchange, and facilitates business networking.

Each year, the event attracts investors, developers, real estate professionals, and city representatives - providing an excellent opportunity to promote investment opportunities and build business relationships.
Winning the "City of the Year" title is yet another recognition for Poznań this year in the field of investment and investor relations. In September, the capital of Greater Poland also received the Prime Property Prize 2025 in the "Investor-Friendly City" category during the 15th anniversary edition of the Property Forum in Warsaw.
