Silver Andersia - laying the foundation stone for the tallest building in Poznań

- Today we are laying the foundation stone for the tallest building in Poznań and the largest office building in the Wielkopolska region. It is a joint work of the Von der Heyden Group, the City of Poznań, PORR and those who believed in the success of this venture. This is a special moment for all those who participated in this project at various stages and in different roles. Great things require great effort, great courage and great faith. We are glad that despite the difficult time, full of international tensions, we are witnessing such an important event for Poznań and the whole of Wielkopolska - said Adam Trybusz, President of the Management Board of Andersia Retail Sp. z o.o.
The Silver Andersia office building is another stage of the 25-year-long investment, i.e. an office, hotel and retail complex located at Plac Andersa in Poznań. The building under construction, which is to become a business showcase of Poznań, will be 116 meters high at its highest point and almost 40 thousand square meters of usable space spread over 25 floors. The construction of the office building, designed by the Poznań architectural studio of Ewa and Stanisław Sipiński, is to be completed in mid-2025. The investor of the project is Andersia Retail Sp. z o.o. - a joint venture between Von der Heyden Group and the City of Poznań, the general contractor of the project is PORR S.A., and the commercialization of the office building will be dealt with, among other companies CBRE.
The new era of commercial real estate
Silver Andersia will constitute as much as 5% of the entire Poznań office market stock, influencing both the increase of this market and the raising of its standards. It will be a unique place, intended for those companies that are looking for office space of the highest quality and with amazing views of the city.
- Laying the foundation stone for the Silver Andersia building is a big step that will have a significant impact on the commercial space market in Poznań. The cooperation of such significant companies, both on the Polish and global market, to implement the investment is a really huge undertaking, which will be crowned with the completion of the construction of the office building in 2025. It is an honour for CBRE that it can be the leading agent in the commercialization of the building, changing the landscape and the office market in Poznań - comments Anna Trębicka, Director at CBRE Polska.
Changes on the architectural map of Poznań
The Silver Andersia project, as well as the entire Andersia complex, was created in the Architectural Studio of Ewa and Stanisław Sipiński, responsible for the designs of such projects in Poznań as, among others: the Delta building at Towarowa Street, Skalar at Hetmańska Street, PFC at Andersa Square or Galeria Malta.
- The complex of office, service and residential buildings of Andersia, according to the suggestion and guidelines of both the architect of the city of Poznań and the municipal conservator of monuments, was designed in the form of two buildings. The first, higher one, will be located on the side of Kościuszki Street, "in line" with the existing Andersia Tower building, and the second, lower one, is going to be located on the side of Królowej Jadwigi Street. All the buildings built at Plac Andersa constitute a spatial complex that is homogeneous in terms of composition, the culminating and highest dominant of which will be the Silver Andersia building - says prof. Ewa Sipińska from the Ewa and Stanisław Sipiński Architectural Studio
The office building under construction will be one of the most modern and environmentally friendly investments in Poznań. It is to receive a LEED Gold certificate confirming ecological solutions applied at the design and construction stage.
- The façade of Silver Andersia will be made of semi-structural curtain walls, allowing for the effect of complete glazing, i.e. connecting elements invisible from the outside (muntins and beams). This effect of a homogeneous glass pane, transparency and specific ethereal nature of objects will also be visible at night thanks to the illumination of the building. The elements of the glass façade feature tilting narrow window sashes, allowing the building's users to ventilate the rooms, not only through full internal air conditioning systems but also through direct access to the outside air. It is worth noting that the system of individual ventilation of rooms was introduced in the world after the pandemic in order to improve the climate comfort of rooms, with particular emphasis on their sanitary and hygienic quality - explains Prof. Ewa Sipińska.
Silver Andersia will change the image of Poznań, becoming one of the architectural showpieces of the capital of Greater Poland. - The building under construction is to be the tallest building in Poznań and, together with the entire architectural team of Plac Andersa, will constitute the highest accent of the commercial and spatial centre of the city, thanks to which a harmonized centre-forming complex will be created, coexisting with the Old Brewery and Novotel Hotel - sums up Prof. Sipińska.
