SKF Business Center: 5 Years of Breakthrough Growth and Global Perspective

Five Years of Dynamic Growth in Poznań
The transformation over the past five years has been impressive. From a small team in 2020, SKF Business Center has grown to 174 employees. Importantly, the company continues to expand, actively recruiting to build an even larger, cohesive, and highly skilled team. This dynamic growth also prompted a name change - in 2024, in response to the broadening scope of services, SKF Financial Services became SKF Business Center. Its structure now includes not only the well-established finance departments (RTR, OTC, PTP) and Controlling, but also Regional Support, Purchasing, and People Experience departments, enabling comprehensive support for global operations.
The company's growth is also reflected in Poznań's infrastructure. In September of this year, a fully renovated additional floor of the existing building was opened. Moreover, the rapid expansion and increasing specialization have led SKF Business Center to a strategic reorganization: the center is splitting into two separate business units focused on the Industrial and Automotive segments. This natural step requires a second, separate location in Poznań, clearly demonstrating the scale of growth and strengthening SKF's presence in the city.
Currently, the Poznań center provides services for a wide range of SKF companies across countries such as Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, and Turkey. Additionally, the center is in the process of transitioning operations from other markets, including Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, further expanding its global reach. This international character is also reflected in the team's language skills, which are essential for smooth communication and efficient collaboration, facilitating transition processes and daily operations across the supported markets.
Combining Swedish Values with Polish Professionalism
SKF Business Center consistently strives for excellence and innovation. In Poznań, as the first non-production SKF unit in the world, the center earned the prestigious Business Excellence certificate for optimizing business operations. The company also actively invests in the future and modern technologies, exemplified by a comprehensive financial process automation project and specialized training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to effectively leverage AI in daily work.
The Poznań center embraces a unique Swedish work culture based on trust, openness, and flexibility, including a hybrid working model. Renovated in 2023, the office is more employee-friendly than ever. The company invests in employee development through internal and external training, job rotation, and promotions. To support holistic wellbeing, SKF Business Center has launched a wellbeing platform and introduced regular office massages.
Active Participant in Poznań's Community and Sports Life
SKF Business Center actively engages in local initiatives. Employees participate in internal football matches and health-promoting activities, such as the 2025 "Cycling Capital of Poland," where the company placed 12th among Poznań entities and received a diploma from the Mayor of Poznań, Jacek Jaśkowiak. The company also regularly supports charitable actions, including organizing the "Szlachetna Paczka" (Noble Package), providing food for animal shelters, and participating in DKMS Bone Marrow Donor Day.
Vision for the Future and New Horizons of Growth
Five years of SKF Business Center in Poznań is a story of dynamic growth, relentless pursuit of excellence, and deep engagement. The company has strengthened its position as a key point on the SKF Group's global business services map, shaping the future of business services and serving as a model of a modern, responsible employer.
Looking ahead, SKF Business Center enters a new stage of development and strategic specialization. Further investments are planned, along with continued expansion within the framework of the two specialized units. With unwavering passion and commitment, the company will continue its mission, strengthening its position in Poznań and contributing to the development of a dynamic regional labor market.
