Wunderman Thompson Technology with the best employer brand strategy

This year, companies from all over Poland entered the competition with 187 entries in nine categories. In addition to the strategy (above and below PLN 100,000), there were such activities to boast about as offline and online campaigns, image films, career tabs, graphic creation or internal activities and innovations.
Wunderman Thompson Technology entered the competition with its original strategy 'We got IT', prepared together with the Kraków-based agency Grupa MBE. - 'The years 2018-2022 were a time of change for us,' says Kinga Przepiórka, People Director at WTT, 'In addition to rebranding, changing the structure and merging the companies in Poland under one brand, we also went through pandemonium and a change of working mode from stationary to hybrid. This required us to modify our approach to recruitment, culture building and employee relations.
The winning strategy is based on three pillars: the freedom to realise one's ideas within the company, the sharing of expertise inside and outside the organisation, and a good atmosphere based on the wellbeing of the staff. Within the framework of these assumptions, a number of activities are being implemented, aimed at employees, candidates and people working with the company. - Several dozen people from various departments of the company, with different skills, were involved in the development and implementation of the strategy, adds Przepiórka, 'We are happy to be recognised in the competition, but we are even happier with the results of internal employee satisfaction surveys. Their job satisfaction has increased from 33% to 75%. We will soon be moving to an office in the Nowy Rynek complex in the city centre - within walking distance of transport stops or the university. WTT's new office was designed together with the employees to provide the best possible working and integration conditions. We focus on maximising the use of daylight and comfortable spaces for teamwork.
Organised by HRM Insitute, the EBEA competition had its 12th edition this year. Its main idea is to reward and present the best employer branding practices in Poland. The Jury of the EBEA 2023 competition consisted of specialists and recognised experts in the industry: Anna Macnar (Chairperson), Julia Bojanowska, Maja Gojtowska, Dominik Górka, Mateusz Jabłonowski, Monika Kantowicz-Gdańska and Dagmara Pakulska. The jury awarded as many as 13 main prizes, a number of distinctions and one special prize. In addition to WTT, other Wielkopolska companies were among the 37 winners: Tpay, Komputronik, Pepco, Lidl, Raben and the Foundation for Shared Value Creation by Students.
