Dr Keith Bensusan (UK) 20.11.2012

City of Poznań and the Poznań University of Life Sciences are pleased to invite you to a lecture delivered by well-known biology and environmental scientist, Dr Keith Bensusan. The lecture "Conservation, Green Areas and Culture in a Land Limited space" will be held on November 20 (Tues) 2012, at 3:30 pm. in the Runge hall at the Poznań University of Life Sciences.
Dr Keith Bensusan is British scientist, who received several awards in the UK and Spain, including the Biodiversity in Small Territories award, which points his wide interest and expertise on wildlife management areas. He is a board member of Gibraltar Ornithological & Natural History Society (GONHS) - member of  BirdLife International, and also acts as Strait of Gibraltar Bird Observatory manager.
He was also elected secretary of the European Working Group of the United Kingdom Overseas Territories Conservation Forum (UKOTCF). He is intensively active in local communities as an expert of environmental protection: the Nature Conservancy Council, the CITES Scientific Authority, the Development and Planning Commission, the Heritage Action Group, the Gibraltar Port Authority, the Port of Gibraltar Licensing Committee and the EU Funding Committee.
