Prof. Umberto Ricardi (Italy) 22.11.2017

The Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań and the City of Poznań invite you to an open lecture entitled "Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) in NSCLC: early stage and oligometastatic disease", which will be given on Tuesday, 22nd November, 2017, by Prof. Umberto Ricardi in the Greater Poland Cancer Centre at ul. Garbary 15 (hall 6051, VI p.).

Dr Ricardi holds a title of full professor and serves as the Head of the Radiation Oncology Faculty on the Turin University in Italy.

He also holds the position of Director of oncology unit at the Turin Health and Science University Hospital.

Dr Ricardi's main areas of interest include lymphomas, lung cancers and Central Nervous System tumours. Additionally, he is an expert in the field of development of the state-of-the-art technologies in radiation oncology.

Dr Ricardi is the author of more than 180 full scientific articles and participant of many domestic and international conferences, to which he was invited as a speaker. He takes part in many educational activities both at national and international level.

He is a member of many national and international scientific societies. Dr Ricardi is a member of the ILROG (International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group) Steering Committee and the ART (Advanced RadioTherapy) Committee at the IASLC. Dr Ricardi is the President-elect of the ESTRO (European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology).
